6. SLEEP MODE
The 3DGence INDUSTRY printer offers a sleep mode that signicantly reduces power consumption when the printer is idle for
a specic period of time.
Sleep mode (g. 29):
turns off all heaters excluding the lament chamber heating,
turns off working chamber lighting,
reduces the display power consumption.
The user can edit the time from the last command (by machine code or through the display) to start the sleep mode. Default
time setting is 60 minutes.
To edit the time required to turn on the sleep mode:
1. Go to MENU±Conguration±– Sleep Mode.
2. By pressing +/- keys enter a new time setting (max. 120 minutes).
3. It is possible to completely disable the sleep mode by pressing the Off key.

7. TURNING OFF
As described above, the INDUSTRY printer is tted with 3 switches. In order to turn the device off safely:
1. Allow the device to cool down its table and heads.
2. Turn the printer off with the switch located on the right bottom part of the front panel. Power to the controller, motors and
heaters will be disconnected, however the lament chamber heating will be maintained. If the device operates with highly
hygroscopic material e.g. nylon, it allows for avoiding problems related to material degradation.
3. Turn off the device completely using the master switch located at the bottom of the back printer panel. It will cut off power
to all INDUSTRY printer subsystems.
4. Disconnect the power supply plug from the socket.
CAUTION: If the device is to be transported, it is recommended to remove both materials by using UNLOAD MATERIAL proce-
dure (Menu Material Status) before turning the printer off.
