The FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) technology used by the 3DGence INDUSTRY F340 printer consists in applying plas-
ticized material layer by layer. This plastic material is a consumable of the printer. It has the form of a plastic lament
(wire, string) of a specic diameter which is wound on a spool (g. 1). 3DGence INDUSTRY F340 uses 1.75 mm diameter
lament only.
