The dual-head module is a replaceable 3DGence INDUSTRY F340 printer component. Below we present its key parts (g.
35, 36).
The module is t ted with two printing heads. The whole mechanism thanks to its driving ser vo mechanism can automatical-
ly switch the printer to one of the two materials within less than 1 second. In addition, the module contains an integral load
cell system responsible for autocalibration measurements and a print cooling system.
The module is also tted with an EEPROM memory. The memory stores offset calibration values specic for this module.
With this solution, the replacement of module does not require re-calibrating the printer, while its operation can be started
immediately after the replacement.
By default, the 3DGence INDUSTRY F340 printer is tted with one STANDARD printing module. This is a module adapted
for printing using ABS and HIPS materials. The modular structure of the system allows users to take advantage of other
