Note:
If you did not set the barcode type correctly, or there is no barcode in
the barcode area, the software will display the following error message:
“Barcode detection unsuccessful! There might be no barcode present.”
◦ Barcode reader library
▪ Select MIL barcode library or Embedded barcode library
◦ General Barcode settings
▪ Inverse barcode color
Activate to invert foreground and background colors of the barcode.
▪ Use barcode compensation
A compensation image is used during barcode reading
▪ Grab new comp
Click this button to create a new compensation image for barcode.
NOTE: New compensation image for barcode can be recorded only if MIL is used for
barcode identification.

▪ Linear
▪ Stacked linear
▪ Postal
▪ Two-dimensional
◦ Second barcode priority – The software is capable to read two barcodes at the same
time. If activated, the second barcode will be the barcode used for slide identification.
Note:
When having two barcodes on the slide, barcode layout must be
consequential.
◦ Resize image – Label imaged is downsized to 1:4 before barcode reading
