• ABB recommends 360° high-frequency grounding of the motor cable shields at their
entries. The grounding can be implemented by a knitted wire mesh screening as shown
below.

• ABB recommends 360° high-frequency grounding of the control cable shields at their
entries. The shields can be grounded by means of conductive shielding cushions pressed
against the cable shield from both directions as shown below.
