DANGER
When releasing the holding brakes, the ro-
bot axes may move very quickly and some-
times in unexpected ways!
Make sure no personnel is near the robot
when brakes are released!

Note
The controller must be powered on!
Release the holding brakes by pushing the
brake release button.
The brake will function again as soon as the
button is released.

Using the brake release unit with an external power supply
Use this procedure to release the holding brakes, when the robot is not connected
to the controller.
NoteAction
Note
Do not interchange the 24V and 0V pins.
If they are mixed up, damage can be caused
to the brake release unit and to the system
board.
