11. PANORAMIC IMAGE ASSESSMENT
Panoramic radiography is an exam of the maxillo-facial region normally used to view the
dental region inside the complete head and sinuses-orbital complex.
With a good panoramic exam, you can distinguish the main anatomic structures that are
simplified in the diagram below (which indicates only the main ones and is not complete).
