1. READY
The READY OUT signal is used to trigger the external device such as DMM to start measurement.
This signal is output when Operate is turned ON, the source value, range or polarity is reset in Operate
status, or the operation proceeds one step in sweep, recall or continuous operation.
A pulse is output 10 ms or 50 ms (to be switched by the menu) after any setting is changed or Operate
is turned ON.
For the operation timing of each mode, refer to Section 4.2.1 through Section 4.2.4.
2. SYNC
The SYNC OUT signal is used to trigger the external device to execute synchronous operation.
A pulse is output when sweep operation is started in the sweep source mode, the operation proceeds
one step in the sweep source mode or the memory recall mode, or the operation proceeds by the con-
tinuous function in the DC source mode.
For the operation timing of each mode, refer to Section 4.2.1 through Section 4.2.4.
NOTE: When the step time is set to less than 100 ms, the actual output timing of READY OUT will be 10
ms even if it is set to 50 ms.
The output timing of READY OUT and SYNC OUT may shift a few milliseconds.
NOTE: In the hold scan or hold sweep mode, if a trigger is newly input before the READY OUT signal by
the previous trigger is output, the signal will be canceled.
In the hold scan or hold sweep mode, if the trigger interval is set to 20 ms or less, the SYNC OUT
signal is not output properly.
