2.2.1.3 Setting Source Value Using Cursor Keys/Rotary Knob (Auto Range ON)

When the source auto range is se to ON, the range is adjusted so that the source value is generated in the

optimum range.

This section describes the procedure with the source auto range set to ON.

The source auto range is changed by selecting MENU, SOURC and then AUTO.

Setting numeric values

1. Press until the cursor moves to the position indicated in the following figure.

Example using the 6156

2. Press or rotate one click clockwise to change the 3 V setting to 4 V. The

source range is automatically set to 30 V.

3. Press or rotate one click counterclockwise.

The source range is automatically set to 3 V.

NOTE: The source auto range is NOT released by specifying a particular range with

the DOWN or UP key. To release the auto range, set it to OFF selecting

MENU, SOURC and then AUTO.
