1.8 Warm-up Time
Allow the 6146/6156 to warm up for at least 30 minutes after turning on the power to ensure the specified
accuracy of the 6146/6156.
1.9 Calibration
Calibrate the 6146/6156 in accordance with the procedure described in Chapter 7, "CALIBRATION."
When asking ADC for calibration service, contact an ADC CORPORATION sales representative.
1.10 Life Limited Parts
In addition to the parts listed in "Safety Summary," the 6146/6156 also includes the following parts that are
life limited.
Follow the guidelines below to replace them. Note that the expected life spans may be shortened depending
on the operating environment, frequency of use and storage environment of the instrument.
Contact an ADC CORPORATION sales representative for replacement.
CAUTION:
• The above life spans are reference information and are NOT guaranteed.
• The 6146/6156 internally calculates the number of Operate/Standby relay operations and range switching
relay operations. If the number of operations exceeds the average life span, an error message in Section
A.2, "Error Message List" is displayed. Refer to the error message list to solve the problem.
Normal operation is possible when this error message appears but immediate relay replacement is recom-
mended.
