8 For 1/8-inch Swagelok fittings, use a pair of 7/16-inch
wrenches to tighten the fitting 3/4 of a turn (Figure 12).
For 1/4-inch fittings, use a pair of 9/16-inch wrenches to
tighten them 1-1/4 turn (Figure 12).

9 Remove the plug from the fitting. To connect the tubing, with
nut and ferrules, to another fitting, finger-tighten the nut,
then use a wrench to tighten it 3/4 (1/8-inch fittings) or 1-1/4
(1/4-inch fittings) of a turn.
10 Both correctly- and incorrectly-swaged connections are
shown in Figure 13. Note that the end of the tubing in a
correctly-swaged fitting is not crushed and does not interfere
with the action of the ferrules.
