Preventive Maintenance
Preventive maintenance intervals may vary depending on the frequency of
instrument usage.
Clean System
The Agilent 850-DS can perform an automated flush of all the tubing. Refer to
“Cleaning” on page 61 for instructions on how to run the cleaning cycle. A
validated cleaning method should be performed after each dissolution test. This
enables the 850-DS to perform at a high level for an extended period of time while
reducing ongoing maintenance costs.
Periodic Maintenance
During a visual inspection of unit, check for:
• Loose or missing hardware
• Signs of wear on pulleys and belts
• Tubing blockages
• Operation of needles
• Signs of wear in the syringes
