2.2.2.3 Powering the module
In general any external power supply (wall adapter) providing 9V
DC
…15V
DC
can be used
to power the ANET3910-EN.
An external 12V
DC
power supply is recommended and is provided with an
ANET3910-EN module. All onboard voltages are generated from this voltage.
The module is immediately powered on, if the DC Power is available (i.e. if the DC
power plug is connected to the DC Back panel socket).
The module power is switched ON/OFF using the push-button at the Back panel (see
figure from Back panel).
Power-ON
To power up the module press the button (if the power is already applied)
Power-OFF
For power down the module press the button again.
If the button is pressed for approximately 3sec, a power down is forced without
shutdown cycle of the OS. This is not recommended and should only be done in
case of a hang up of the module.
Further help on how to get the module started and all the tools provided to work with the
module can be found in chapter “Getting started” in this manual.
