Power failure

Overview
The procedures described below should be performed if the 1643 AM/AMS powering
procedure was unsuccessful (see chapter 5, section “Switching on and testing supply
voltage” (p. 5-3)).
Procedure 1 should be used if the “Power” LED does not light up on the1643
AM/AMS unit.
Procedure 2 should be used if the fans of the fan unit are not running.
Procedure 1
Follow the steps below if the “Power” LED does not light up on the 1643 AM/AMS
unit:

Switch the power off.

Replace all affected power cables between the BDFB (or PDP) and the 1643 AM/AMS
unit. Make sure that the cables are tight afterwards.

Switch the power on.

switch the power off and replace the unit.
