FactoryTalk Alarms and Events
Logix-based Instructions
(ALMD, ALMA)
These Logix-based alarm instructions are available in relay ladder, structured text,
and function block diagram. When used with FactoryTalk View SE software,
version 5.0 and later, these instructions create a system with your visualization
package. The controller detects alarm conditions and publishes events to
FactoryTalk View Alarms and Events servers that propagate alarms to Factory
Talk View SE clients that subscribe to receive notifications.
