System Protocol Tab Configuration
To run broadcast in ControlLogix in the RSLogix 5000 programming software,
you must configure the System Protocol tab in the Controller Properties dialog
box. The protocol must be compatible with the message type of ‘write’ on the
Message Configuration dialog box.

for an example in the Message Type box.
Follow these steps to set up the system protocol to be compatible with the
broadcast feature.
1. Create or open an existing controller in the RSLogix 5000
programming software.
2. On the Controller Organizer, right-click the controller name, and choose
Properties.
The Controller Properties dialog box appears.
3. Click System Protocol tab.
