Web Browser Interface User’s Guide
The MAC Address Page contains the following fields:
View All — Displays all dynamic addresses learned on the ports of the device and all static addresses that
have been assigned to the ports.
View Static — Displays the static addresses assigned to the ports on the device.
View Dynamic — Displays the dynamic addresses learned on the ports on the device.
View MAC Addresses on Port — Displays the dynamic and static MAC addresses of a port. You can specify
more than one port at a time.
View MAC Addresses for VLAN — Displays the static and dynamic addresses learned on the tagged and
untagged ports of a specific VLAN. You specify the VLAN by entering the VLAN ID. Only one VLAN can be
defined at a time.
View MAC Address — Displays the number of the port on which a MAC address was assigned or learned.
To find out on which port a particular MAC address was learned, even if the device is part of a large network,
you can just specify the MAC address. The system automatically locates the port on the device where the
device is connected.
2. Define the fields for the Unicast or Multicast MAC addresses to add.
3. Click Add. The Add MAC Address Page opens:

The Add MAC Address Page contains the following fields:
MAC Address —Defines the static or dynamic Unicast MAC address.
Port Number —Indicates the port on which the address was learned or assigned. The MAC address with
port “CPU” is the address of the device.
VLAN ID — Displays the VLAN ID number to which the entry refers.
Status — Indicates the current status of the address. The possible values are:
Permanent — The MAC address is permanent.
Delete on Reset — The MAC address is deleted when the device is reset.
Delete on Timeout — The MAC address is deleted when a timeout occurs.
Secure Options — The MAC Address is defined for locked ports.
Note
When viewed, the information also includes the Type of the address: static or dynamic.
