Defining MSTP Instances
Network administrators can assign MSTP settings to a specific instance (port or LAG) using the MSTP Instance
Settings Page.
To define MSTP interface settings:
1. Click Layer 2 > MSTP. The MSTP Page opens.
2. Click Configure next to the Configure Instance Settings option. The MSTP Instance Settings Page opens:

The MSTP Interface Settings Page
contains the following fields:
VLAN — Displays the VLAN ID.
Instance ID — Configures the MSTP instances. The possible field range is 0-7.
3. Map the VLANs to Instance IDs.
4. Click Save Config on the menu, to save changes permanently.
