CD Shuttle Operation

Press the SOURCE button on the CVA-1000E.
The display shows the menu.
Note: Pressing the SOURCE button while
driving (Parking Brake OFF) will cause
the audio source to change immedi-
ately. The SOURCE Selection menu
will not appear. Press the SOURCE
button repeatedly until you are in the
CD Shuttle mode.
Multi-Changer Selection
You can connect and operate 2 or more (6
maximum) Alpine CD Shuttles through Ai-NET.
These CD Shuttles must be connected to the
CVA-1000E using the Multi-Changer Switching
device (KCA-400C). If you use 1 Switching
device, you can connect up to 4 CD Shuttles. If
you use 2 Switching devices, you can connect
up to 6 CD Shuttles.
Turn the rotary switch on the CVA-1000E and
select "CHG" from the menu. Press the rotary
switch.
The display changes to the CD Shuttle control
screen.

Press the AUDIO SEL button on the Remote
Control (RUE-4160) to activate the CD Shuttle
mode.

selection screen.
