WARNING!
Danger through road traffic collisions.
A number of risks are involved for the passengers, opera-
tor and pedestrians when using the Back-in-Box-
Lift on
public highways.
Therefore:
•
When the parking the vehicle ensure that other road
traffic is affected as little as possible.
•
Park the vehicle such that as little danger as possible is
presented by other road traffic.
• Switch the vehicle’s engine OFF and apply the hand-
brake.
•
Make certain that pedestrians are not put at risk though
movements of the Back-in-Box-Lift.
• Do not operate the Back-in-Box-
Lift until this has been
done.
WARNING!
Risk of injury through movements of the Back-in-Box-Lift.
There is a risk injury through being hit or crushed by
movements of the platform. The Back-in-Box-Lift can
move unexpectedly.
Therefore:
•
Take advantage of the flexibility provided by the remote
control cable to gain an adequate overview of the entire
range of movement of the platform.
•
Always stand at an adequately safe distance from the
platform during operation.
• Inform other persons of the danger.
• Stop the Back-in-Box-Lift if any persons enter the dan-
ger zone.
WARNING!
Risk of injury if protective and safety devices are removed
or are defective.
If protective and safety devices are modified, bypassed or
removed, they will no longer fulfil their function.
Therefore:
• never modify, bypass or remove protective and
safety
devices.
•
Always refit protective and safety devices if they have
been removed (e. g. for maintenance or repair purpos-
es).
