CAUTION!
Risk of injury if there is insufficient space to operate the
Back-in-Box-Lift.
If there is insufficient space to leave or to access the plat-
form, there is a risk of being injured by the Back-in-Box-
Lift
or other objects (e.g. walls, posts or poles).
These risks apply to both the passenger and the accom-
panying person.
Therefore:
• When parking the vehicle, make certain
that there is
sufficient space to operate the Back-in-Box-Lift.
ATTENTION!
Danger through the platform’s drive motor overheating.
If the remote control button for extending the platform is
held pressed for too long, the electric motor can overheat.
Therefore:
• Release the remote control button as soon as the plat-
form has fully extended from the cassette.
NOTE
If the weather conditions are particularly cold and wet, the
Back-in-Box-Lift can ice up such that the platform does
not extend.
Therefore:
•
If it is suspected that the platform is iced up, carry out a
trial run and check that the platform extends and that
the roll-off guard folds down when the platform reaches
the ground.
• Only use the Back-in-Box-Lift for embarkation or dis-
embarkation when this has been done.
•
Take an accompanying person along if there is a risk
that the Back-in-Box-Lift can ice up.
