Connecting Components and Powering Up
1. Connect the mouse, the keyboard, and the
monitor as instructed by the quick start guide that
accompanied the computer. Refer to the diagram
below to verify connections.
2. Power on the computer and monitor (tower
computer shown at right).
The power switch on a laptop is at the top-center
of the keyboard.
Wait for the computer to boot.
3. Log on using an account with windows
administrator privileges (see your system
administrator for more information).
