Custom Dyes The 7300/7500/7500 Fast instrument supports the detection of custom pure dyes (dyes
other than those provided by Applied Biosystems).
Custom dyes must fluoresce within the spectral range measured by the instrument:
• 500 to 650 nm for 7300 systems
• 500 to 700 nm for the 7500/7500 Fast systems
To add custom pure dyes to the Pure Dye set for your instrument, see “Creating a
Custom Pure Dye Plate” on page 127.
