probe designed to detect amplification of the target.
target The nucleic acid sequence that you want to amplify and detect.
target color In the StepOne
software, a color assigned to a target to identify the target in the plate
layout and analysis plots.
Target Library In the StepOne
software, a collection of targets to add to experiments. The targets in the
library contain the target name, reporter, quencher, and target color. The target in the
library may also contain comments about the target.
task In the StepOne
software, the type of reaction performed in the well for the target or SNP
assay. Available tasks:
Unknown
•Negative Control
Standard (standard curve and relative standard curve experiments)
Positive control (genotyping experiments)
IPC (presence/absence experiments)
Blocked IPC (presence/absence experiments)
