Then shift the lower holders lengthways until a clearance of 1 mm has been attained
between the lower holder and feed beam.

Tighten the bolts (B).

Check by running the cradle along the entire beam. The pressure to run the cradle
forwards must be maximum 30 bar with the hydraulic oil at operating temperature. If
the pressure exceeds 30 bar, the holders are too tight and must be readjusted.
8.
Replace damaged hoses and tighten leaking connections. The hoses are correctly
adjusted when they do not hang down when the feeder is in the horizontal position.
7.7 Replacing Slide Pieces in Holder
Each holder has replaceable slide pieces. The slide piece (C) is kept in place by three keys
(D). The slide pieces must be replaced at regular intervals so that the steel in the holder
does not wear against the beam.

NOTE: Replace the slide piece if there is less than 1 mm of wear allowance on the
slide piece. Change all the slide pieces at the same time, even if some of them are
slightly thicker.
