7.13 Check Condition of Feed

Check for leaks on the feed cylinder (A).
n
Adjust tension, check lubrication, and leakage on the pull and return rope (B).
n
Check attachment and function on the limit switches (C).
n
Check lubrication and wear on the intermediate drill rod support bearing (D). Replace
if necessary.
n
Check for damage and wear on the feed beam (E).
n
Check attachment and tightness of bolted joints on the rock drill (F).
n
Check wear, tension, and lubrication on the hydraulic hoses (G).
n
Check lubrication and wear on the water hose drum bearings (H).
n
Check attachment, play, wear, and damages on the rock drill cradle (I).
n
Pump lubricant into 14 grease nipples on the rod handling system (J).
n
Check for wear on the drill rod support halves (K).
n
Check tightening on the bolted joints (L).
