Waste Electrical and Electronic Eq uipment
This sy mbol on the product indicates that, under the European Directive 2 0 12/19/EU governing waste from electrical and
electronic equipme nt, this product must not be disposed of with other municipal waste. Please dispose of your waste equipm ent by
handing it over to a designated collection p oint for the r ecycling o f was te electrical and elec tronic equipment. To prevent possible
harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled wa ste disposal, please separate these items from other types of w aste
and rec ycle them responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources.

Disposal of batteries in the product
This product contains batteries covered by the Direc tive 2006/66/EC which m ust be collected and disposed of s eparately
from m unicipal waste.
If the battery contains more than the specified values of lead (Pb), mercury (Hg) or cadmium ( Cd), these chemical s ym bols will
appear below the crossed-out wheeled bin sym bol.
By participating in separate collection of batteries, you will help to ens ure proper disposal and to pre vent potential negative effects
on the environment and human health.
Disposal of mercury-containing lamps
• Recycle through a mun icipal or solid waste district hous ehold hazardous waste collection program in accordance w ith local
regulations.
• Direct shipm ent to lamp re cycler.
• Shipment through a hazardous waste transporter.
WARNING: Do not b reak or crush lamps because this may p ose h ealth a nd environmental risks when mercury
vapors are released.
CAUTION: To avoid b reaking the lamps, repack carefully w hen storing an d t ransporting them .
CAUTION: Lamps may not be disposed as normal household trash.
Contact your local waste d isposal facility for information on the rec ycling prog ram for H ID (High Intensity
Discharge ) lamps in y our area.
