According to the M aterial Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), S odium Carbonate could caus e the following hazar ds:
• Potential Acu te H ealth E ffects: Haza rdous in case of skin contact (irritant), of eye contact (irritant), of ingestion, of inhalation
(lung irritan t ).
• Potential Chronic Health Effects: Slightly hazardous in case of skin contact (sensitizer). The substance m ay be toxic t o upper
respiratory tract, sk in, eyes. Repeated or prolonged exposure to the substance can produce target organ dam age.
