9.1 Communicator Touch Panel
Communicator Touch Panel for digital cinema projectors
The Comm unicator Touch Pa nel is designed for multi-user command and control. T he Communicator enables users to learn quickly
and operate efficiently - using an elegant and flex ible Touch Panel interface. The interface’s commonality means that operators
can intuitively use any model in the product line, without restriction, and its user-friendly nature translates directly into a short and
enjoyable learning curve.

Flexible Touch Panel interface
The Touch Panel interface can be mounted upon a swivel arm which easily fi ts on top of the DP2K-E series projector. One central
locking mechanism of the swivel arm allows instant fix ation of the Touc h Panel interface in any position.
The To uch Panel interface can also be installed further away from the DP2K -E series pro jector. For this purpose an Ethernet cable
up to 5 0 m eter can be used to realize a direct data comm unication between the DP 2K-E s eries projector a nd the C omm unicator
Touch Panel.
The Touch Panel interface ca n also be connected via a Local Area Network (LAN) in the same w ay as the DP2K-E series projector.
In this configuration both devices can com municate w it
h each other as well.
The Touch Panel interface requires a voltage supp ly +12 VDC and 1,5 ampere. Note that the DP2K-E series projector has a 12 VDC
output which can be used to power up the Touch Panel interface. Nevertheless, the use of a separate +12 VDC adaptor (1,5 ampe re
minimum) is required in cas e the Touch Panel interface is installed more then a few meters away from the DP2K -E series projector.
