Barco offers a pedestal for the Thor series series projector. This pedestal allows for a solid and easy
setup of the projector and chillers that fit underneath the pedestal.
Required tools
• 17 mm open end wrench
• 24 mm open end wrench
Projector centering
1. If the projector is standalone in front of the port window, center the projector with the theatre screen (see
reference A Image 6-4).
2. If another film projector is already present (projector will be off-center), try to optimize aim (see reference B
Image 6-4).
Note: Unlike analog film projectors, it is best to keep the projector lens surface as parallel as possible
to the screen, even if it is significantly above the screen center.
Note: All feet have an adjustment range of 10 cm. The minimum feet height is 8 cm below the bottom
of the projector, the maximum feet height is 18 cm.
The off-center position slightly increases side keystone, but will minimize horizontal lens offset required.
