1.7.4 Sensor Connections
Sensor cable connections are achieved via GX-style cable connectors. Insuring the GX
connections for the motors are secure at all connection points is critical to the operation of the
machine. Proper tightness for the connector should be achieved by hand, as tightening with
wrenches or other tools can damage the connector.
1.7.5 Air Line Connections
Air line connections are achieved via pneut, push-in style connectors. The plastic air lines that
power various components on the Dragon A400 push into the respective pneut connector to
achieve connection. It is important to insure that all air line connections are securely seated
and not leaking at each connection point for proper machine operation.
While using tools is not recommended when tightening GX connectors, sometimes GX
connectors may require tools to get them loose. Should this issue arise, care should
be taken not to damage the connectors.
! Caution !
It is possible for improperly tted GX connectors to overheat and melt. This can
damage the connector and a󰀨ect the operational status of the machine. In extreme
cases it could cause a risk of re.
