2.1 Machine Overview
The Dragon A400 consists of many unique designs and part operations. For optimal
performance, it is important for the Operator to familiarize themselves with the function of all of
these components.
This Chapter is set up as a procedural. Following this procedural will ensure the Operator is
familiarized with all of the mechanical functions of the Dragon A400.
2.2 Gate
The Gate is located at the front of the Dragon A400. The Gate works in conjunction with the
Chuck to support and move material through its cutting process.
! Caution !
It is important to inspect machine before it is powered up. Handling electrical ttings
can cause injury to the technician. Always inspect electrical connections while the
machine is powered down, preferably disconnected from power sources.
