2.2.3 Gate Lead Screws
Lead Screws are used to adjust the
opening of the Gate. The Gate uses
a front Lead Screw and a rear Lead
Screw. Gate Lead Screw operation is
accomplished via a ¼ in. Allen wrench.
The front Lead Screw adjusts the outer
Gate opening diameter. The rear Lead
Screw adjusts the inner Gate opening
diameter. Turning a Gate Lead Screw
counterclockwise opens the Gate, turning
the Gate Lead Screw clockwise closes the
Gate. Gate Lead Screws should operate
smoothly with minimal force applied by the
Operator and with no binding throughout
the travel.
2.2.4 Gate Adjustment
The eccentric bearing is located at the bottom of the Gate as it is mounted on the
machine.
The Gate must be removed from the machine in order to adjust the Gate eccentric
bearing.
The Dragon A400 is supplied with a ¼ in. T-handle Allen wrench.
