3.2 Booting Up The Dragon A400
Booting up the Dragon A400 requires following a specic procedure. Following this procedure
in the proper order will ensure the Dragon A400 is up and running as quickly as possible.
Failure to follow the procedure in the proper order can aect machine operation and lead to
unnecessary down time.
It is important to route the Ethernet cable away from the Torch cable. The Torch cable
will create signicant electrical interference with the Ethernet cable and can aect the
signal between the computer and the machine.
It is important to route the Ethernet cable away from any drive motor cables. Drive
motor cables can interfere with the Ethernet signal.
Do not connect the Dragon A400 computer to the machine via the router, always
connect the Ethernet port directly from the machine’s Ethernet port to the computer
Ethernet port.
Do not connect the Ethernet cord to the USB port of the Dragon A400 computer,
always connect the Ethernet port directly from the machine’s Ethernet port to the
computer Ethernet port.
