WARNING
Injury, fire and damage to property due to a short circuit in isoHV1685D-
425 and isoHR1685D-925
According to DIN VDE 0100-430, protective devices (fuses) used to protect
against short circuits when terminals L1/+ and L2/- are coupled to the IT
system to be monitored can be omitted if the wiring is designed in such a
manner that the risk of a short circuit is kept to a minimum. Ensure short-
circuit-proof and earth-fault-proof wiring.
CAUTION
Make sure that the operating voltage is correct!
Prior to insulation and voltage tests, the ISOMETER® must be disconnected from
the IT system for the duration of the test. In order to check the correct connection
of the device, a functional test has to be carried out before starting the system.
In case of single-pole coupling (see connection diagram 4), the function of
the coupling monitoring must be deactivated and the function of the single-
pole operation must be activated! The functions are described in the chapters
8.2 (1.4) "Coupling monitoring (not for isoHR1685D-925)" on page 45 and
8.2 (1.6) "„Single-pole operation“ - isoHV1685D only" on page 46.
