4.2.1 Calculation of the required airflow of an
enclosure (IP20)
If the panel is to be ventilated using cooling fans and fil-
ters, the required airflow can be determined as follows:
• F = 0.053 x P / (T

• F = Airflow in cubic metres per minute
• P = Total power dissipated in panel (include all
losses from all power devices)

= Maximum temperature allowed in the panel
(ambient temperature for the drive)
