Approach Reference Page
The approach reference page displays approach planning data and approach
reference speed (VREF) selection.
[Option – QFE, English units]
FMC calculated airplane gross weight usually displays.
Manual entry is allowed in case the FMC calculated gross weight is unavailable
or invalid, or to allow previewing recommended approach speeds at other than the
calculated FMC gross weight. The manually entered gross weight becomes the
FMC calculated gross weight when a different page is selected and the
APPROACH REF page is reselected. Permanent changes to gross weight result in
recalculation of all performance data and may only be made on the PERF INIT
page.
Displays boxes when gross weight is not available from the FMC.
