Alternate Navigation Radio Page
The ALTN NAV RADIO page provides a backup means of tuning the ILS
frequency and course or GLS channel into the left integrated navigation receiver
(INR). Left side ILS or GLS deviations are then displayed on the ISFD.
Note: When alternate navigation is selected ON and the EICAS advisory
message TCP ALTN NAV is displayed, it is possible to have the left and
right ILS or GLS tuned to different frequencies/channels. Pilots must
ensure that the correct ILS frequencies or GLS channels are tuned for the
approach being flown. The PFD flight data block will always display the
tuned ILS frequency or GLS channel or the received ident for the on-side
system.
