Push – enters an ILS frequency or GLS channel from the scratchpad when in
backup mode. Entry format must be NNN.NN for a ILS frequency or NNNNN for
a GLS channel.
Defaults to most recently tuned ILS frequency or GLS channel if available.
Cyan when inactive.
White when active.
Push – enters an ILS course from the scratchpad when in backup mode.
Defaults to most recently tuned ILS course if available.
Cyan when inactive.
White when active.
Not used when a GLS channel has been entered at LSK 1L.
Push – alternately selects backup navigation tuning ON (enabled) and OFF
(disabled).
ON –
• ON displayed in large green font
• ILS-GLS and COURSE change color from cyan to white
• ILS frequency and course or GLS channel may be tuned into the left INR
• EICAS message TCP ALTN NAV displayed
• ISFD displays left INR ILS or GLS deviations
OFF –
• OFF displayed in large green font
• ILS-GLS and COURSE change color from white to cyan
• ILS and GLS may not be tuned from the ALTN NAV RADIO page
• EICAS message TCP ALTN NAV removed from view
• Tuning of the left ILS and left GLS controlled by the FMC
