GPWS Look–Ahead Obstacle and Terrain Mode
A GPWS terrain database contains detailed terrain and man made obstacle data.
Obstacle and terrain data is not designed to be used as an independent navigation
aid.
When the TERR switch is selected on the TERR indication is displayed on the left
side of the NDs and mini-maps. TERR may also be displayed on the ND only from
the ND drop-down menu. Obstacle and terrain contours may also be displayed.
