Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS) Controls
Tuning and Control Panel (TCP)
Push – toggles the ground proximity warning system between the left (L) and right
(R) systems.
Defaults to the left system.
If a fault is detected the system automatically switches to the other side.
Selection is displayed in large green font.
Push – toggles between normal and override settings.
OVRD –
inhibits TOO LOW FLAPS alert
EICAS advisory message GPWS FLAP OVRD is displayed
EICAS advisory message GND PROX SYS is displayed when airspeed is
greater than 250 knots for more than 60 seconds
resets automatically after landing 10 minutes after cabin door is opened
NORM – all flap inhibits removed.
Selection is displayed in large green font.
