Modes of Operation

Illuminated (amber) – the BATTERY switch is OFF.
ON – energizes in-flight entertainment and passenger seat systems when sufficient
AC power is available.
OFF – de-energizes in-flight entertainment and passenger seat systems.
Illuminated (amber) – the IFE/PASS SEATS power switch is OFF.
Push – (if AVAIL light illuminated) closes forward external power contactor.
Push – (if ON light illuminated) opens forward external power contactor.
Illuminated (white) – forward external power is selected ON.

in Chapter 6, Section 20, for additional
information.)
Illuminated (white) –
forward external power is plugged in and power quality is acceptable
extinguishes when the ON light illuminates
(Refer to Modes of Operation
in Chapter 6, Section 20, for additional
information.)
ON –
arms generator control breaker (allows it to close automatically when
power is available)
closes generator field
OFF –
opens generator control breaker
opens generator field
resets fault protection systems
Illuminated (amber) – the generator control breaker is open.
