The modules facilitate the connection of incremental or absolute measuring /
encoder systems.
POS-SA1
The POS-SA1 module features:
D 1 channel w/ selectable encoder system
D 4 digital inputs
D 4 digital outputs
POS-SA2
The POS-SA2 module features:
D 2 independent channels w/ one selectable encoder system each
D 4 digital inputs each
D 4 digital outputs each
POS-SA function module
As a prerequisite for the use of the counting / positioning modules, the
POS-SA function module (Order no. 1070 077 979) is required.

Module variants
For positioning tasks both comfortable and cost effective, 2 positioning mo-
dules are available:
D POS-LR1, featuring 1 channel w/ selectable encoder system
D POS-LR2, featuring two independent channels w/ one selectable enco-
der system each
Module tasks
The modules provide the following functions:
D Positioning 1 or 2 linear axes via positioning control and analog output
D 128 positions per channel
D Connection of incremental or absolute encoder systems
