6.2 Connection
All of the 16 or 32 inputs have common 24 V and 0 V potential.
An input can be connected to an output of the output modules without addi-
tional load.
Connection via push-lock terminals:
D max. cable cross section : 1.5 mm

Any two-wire proximity switch meeting the following requirements can be
connected:
D Closed-circuit current v 1.7 mA
D Voltage drop v 6 V
D Holding current see V/I characteristic curve
Not suitable for connection are:
D 2-wire proximity switches that largely exploit the IEC 947-5-2 standard
D 2-wire proximity switches according to the NAMUR standard
