17.2.3 Reference Conductor Connected to Protective Earth
If the reference conductor (N, 0 V) is interconnected with PE conductor net-
work, this connection must centrally be located for easy accessibility (e.g.,
on the external power supply or isolating transformer). The connection must
facilitate easy interruption, e.g., for the purpose of measuring earth leakage
currents. As a result, the power supply circuit becomes a PELV circuit (see
also section 17.1).
