If your Bose Home Theater System is not responding to the remote, check transistor Q1 (270841-001) on the IR board and replace it if defective. Ensure that the IR board ribbon cable is properly seated. Also, check that the ribbon cable from the button board to the main PCB at J6700 is properly seated.

If your Bose Home Theater System console has no power, check the seating of cable 271561-190 between the DSP and I/O board. Also, check F1 on the Input/Output PCB and the console cable (269997-001).
