Safety Notes
It is mandatory to get approval and/or clearance from a stress analyst before cutting the
floor box recesses, as building statics will change.
In case the linac is already installed, ensure that the linac base frame is not damaged
during recess construction.
Until the floor box is installed, the empty pit must be marked with warning signs or
covered.
The aluminum cover must rest on stable (concrete) floor minimum with 10 mm.
All dimensions for positioning floor boxes are based on an isocenter height of 1295 mm +/-
20 mm (finished floor line – isocenter).
The exact value depends on the linac type. Please refer to the respective documentation. If
the vertical isocenter position is not within the tolerance range, please contact Brainlab.
