8.3.2 Collision Detect Interlock and Motion Enable
General Information
For Varian Truebeam linacs, ExacTrac receives the motion enable signal from the T
rueBeam
through cable 8a (see Figure 37).
NOTE: If a collision is detected by the linac, the motion enable signal will not be activated with the
Varian logic. In this case, collision detect is indirectly recognized by ExacTrac and not read as a
separate signal.
NOTE: The same cable provides the emergency OFF signal from the linac and the emergency
STOP signal from ExacTrac (see page 83).
