X-Ray Generator Cabinet Distances
The exact cable lengths need to be specified by the hospital.
• Possible cable length between the generator and X-ray tubes: 1
1, 15 and 18 m.
NOTE: Use the same cable length for both tubes.
• Possible cable length between the two generator cabinets: 5 m
NOTE: Brainlab can provide an extension to 20 m on request only if there is absolutely no way
to install the generators 5 m apart.

X-ray tube 1 (left side of the gantry when facing the gantry) must be connected to generator
cabinet 1 (labeled “a” in the diagrams).
• X-ray tube 2 (right side of the gantry when facing the gantry) must be connected to generator
cabinet 2 (labeled “b” in the diagrams).
