ExacTrac requires the same minimum ceiling height as the linac gantry. If the height of the
concrete ceiling is lower than the minimum height required for the linac gantry, contact
Brainlab support.
Special Height Requirements
For concrete ceilings higher than the allowed maximum height, additional construction is required
to maintain the following maximum mounting heights (measured from the finished floor):
Component Maximum Height
Ceiling mount for monitor arm 4250 mm
Ceiling mount for flat panels 5270 mm
Component Minimum Height Maximum Height
Suspended ceiling 2700 mm 3100 mm
In case of closed mono block suspended ceilings, service openings to access ceiling
mounts must be provided.
Suspended ceilings should be no higher than the recommended maximum height (3100
mm), otherwise you must cover all visible parts of the ceiling mounts.
The minimum construction height (clearance between concrete ceiling and interface plate)
of the ExacT
rac ceiling mounts is 150 mm. If any parts of the ceiling mounts are visible due
to suspended ceiling setup, you are responsible for covering these.
